SWADESHABHIMANI RAMAKRISHNA PILLAI (1878-1916)
- He was born at Neyyattinkkara in Thriruvananthapuram.
- He was the editor of ‘Malayali’ published from Kollam.
- In 1906 he became the editor of Swadeshabhimani.
- He was deported from Kerala for criticising the government in 1910.
- ‘Karl Marx’, ‘‘Kerala Bhasholpalhy’ ‘‘Benjamin Franklin’’ Mohandas Gandhi, ‘‘Socrates’, ‘‘Dharmaraja Nirupanam’ are his famous works.
- ‘‘Ente Nadukadathal’’ is his autobiography
- He died on 28 March 1916 at Kannur.
- His memorial is situated at Payyampalam in Kannur.
